A two-minute fit check

Answer four questions. Nothing is saved or sent. The result tells you what to confirm before a campaign makes sense.

Question 1

1Is the business that would pay for ads based in a supported country?

Question 2

2Is what you sell in a category OpenAI allows right now?

Question 3

3Do you have a web page where a visitor can make an inquiry?

Question 4

4Can you tell today which inquiries came from which source?

Answer the four questions to see what to confirm first.

Who this is for, and who it isn't yet

Fit is about availability, category, goals, and readiness. Not about size.

A FIT WHEN

  • Platform availability

The legal entity that advertises and pays must be in a country OpenAI currently supports. The list changes; we check it on the day.

  • Business category

Consumer goods, local services, travel and entertainment, and digital products or education are open now. Some categories are restricted or not allowed.

  • Goals

You want inquiries, bookings, or sales you can count, not impressions for their own sake.

  • Readiness

A working website that can take an inquiry, and someone to answer it. If that isn't in place yet, we say so and can help with it first.

NOT YET WHEN

  • Your category isn't allowed yet

OpenAI is expanding categories over time. We can tell you where yours stands today and check back when it changes.

  • Your site can't take an inquiry

Ads only work when the click has somewhere to go. Fixing the page comes first, and it's work we can do.

  • You can't measure a lead yet

Without conversion tracking you're buying clicks blind. Measurement is set up before any campaign runs.

OPEN CATEGORIES TODAY

  • Household and consumer goods
  • Local services
  • Travel and entertainment
  • Digital products and education

Financial, healthcare, and legal services are reviewed case by case and only in the US. Political content, gambling, cannabis, individual job listings, and housing listings are not allowed at this time.

Why now?

The channel is new, most businesses haven't started, and the facts below come from OpenAI's own documentation.

  1. You're early.

Ads Manager is still in beta and most businesses haven't started. Competition for the conversations that matter to you is low, for now.

    FROM OPENAI'S DOCS

Ads run through OpenAI Ads Manager Beta. OpenAI describes it as a beta product whose capabilities are limited today and will change over time.

  2. The auction is still quiet.

You pay per click or per thousand views, in an auction most of your competitors haven't entered yet. Early campaigns find their price before the crowd arrives.

    FROM OPENAI'S DOCS

Campaigns buy on CPM (Reach) or CPC (Clicks) with a maximum bid set per ad group, resolved through a relevance-weighted second-price auction. Payment is by credit card on the advertiser's own billing profile.

Source: Ads Manager Beta Overview (OpenAI Help), Ads Manager Beta Account Setup (OpenAI Help)

  3. Your customers are already asking.

People ask ChatGPT what to buy, who to call, and what to do next. Your ad sits under those answers, clearly labeled, and the click lands on your site.

    FROM OPENAI'S DOCS

Ads appear below ChatGPT responses, are clearly labeled, and remain distinct from ChatGPT's own answers. An ad unit carries the advertiser name, logo, headline, description, image, and landing page.

From assessment to launch

The same three steps for every client. The assessment is where we say no when we should.

YOUR WRITTEN PLAN
  • Assess fit and goals

Eligibility, category, landing page, and what an inquiry is worth.

  • Prepare campaign and measurement

You own the account. We write the strategy, creative, and tracking.

  • 3

    Launch subject to review

Then test creative and context hints, and report plainly.

OPENAI REVIEW
  • AccountVerified business
  • AdsCreative and claims
  • Landing pageDestination and content

Rolling queue. No expedite. Approval is never guaranteed.

  1. Step 1: Assess fit and goals

Eligibility, category, landing page, and measurement, checked against OpenAI's current rules. Then we agree on what an inquiry is worth to you.

  2. Step 2: Prepare the campaign and measurement

You create and own the advertiser account and we're invited in as a team member. We write the strategy and creative, set conversion tracking, and recommend landing-page changes.

Country, currency, and time zone are locked at account creation, so we confirm them before you set anything up.

  3. Step 3: Launch subject to review, then optimize

OpenAI reviews the account, the ads, and the landing page. Once live, we test creative and context hints, report in plain language, and move spend toward what produces inquiries.

What we manage

If the assessment says go, this is the work. Ad management only; CRM and booking are separate.

BEFORE LAUNCH

  1. 01

    Eligibility and readiness review

We check your billing country, business category, and landing page against OpenAI's current rules before anything else, so nobody builds a campaign that can't run.

  2. 02

    Campaign strategy

Objective, buying model, budget range, and the conversation topics your ads should match, written down and agreed before creative starts.

  3. 03

    Offer and messaging development

The one thing you want a reader to do after the ad, and the words that get them there. Reused in the ad, the landing page, and the follow-up.

  4. 04

    Ad creative

Headline, description, and image sets built to OpenAI's format and policy requirements, with variations ready for testing.

AT LAUNCH

  1. 05

    Landing-page recommendations

What your page needs so the click becomes an inquiry: matching message, a clear form or call action, and page speed. We advise; your team or ours implements.

  2. 06

    Account and launch guidance

You create and own the advertiser account. We walk you through verification, billing, and the settings that can't be changed later, then get invited in to build the campaign.

  3. 07

    Measurement planning

Conversion tracking and UTM conventions set before launch, so the first dollar of spend is measured the same way as the last.

AFTER LAUNCH

  1. 08

    Reporting, testing, and optimization

Plain-language reporting on impressions, clicks, spend, and inquiries, with creative and context-hint tests scheduled on a cadence we agree on.

What happens after the click

Ads are the CAPTURE step in Brain Kindle's framework. Here is where the visitor goes next, and which parts are included, yours, or optional.

  1. CAPTURE

A labeled ad below a ChatGPT response

    Included

Your ad is matched to relevant conversations by OpenAI's system. We plan the topics, write the creative, and manage the campaign.

    Your landing page

    Included

The click lands on your own website. We recommend what the page needs so the visitor understands the offer and can act on it.

    An inquiry on your site

    Your site and tools

A form, call, or booking request captured by your website and your tools. Nothing comes from ChatGPT itself except the click.

  2. NURTURE

    Follow-up

    Optional add-on

If you want it, Brain Kindle can route those inquiries into a CRM with automated email and text follow-up so nobody waits for a reply. Separate, optional work, priced on its own.

  3. CLOSE

    Booking and the sales conversation

    Optional add-on

A booking calendar lets a ready visitor pick a time themselves. The conversation and the close stay with your team; we can set up the calendar if you want it.

ChatGPT does not share conversations or contact details with advertisers. Every inquiry starts on your own website. CRM automation, follow-up, and booking are Brain Kindle services, not features of ChatGPT Ads, and are only included if we agree on them.

What happens after you request a plan

A person replies, a conversation follows, and a plan is written only if the channel makes sense for you.

  1. 1. We reply by email

A short reply to confirm we received your request and ask one or two questions about your business and goals.

  2. 2. A conversation about fit

We talk through eligibility, category, landing page, and measurement. If the channel isn't a fit yet, we tell you what would need to change.

  3. 3. A written plan, if it makes sense

If we both want to proceed, we put the strategy, creative direction, measurement setup, and management scope in writing for your approval.

Common questions

Is ChatGPT advertising available to our business?

It depends on where your business is billed and what you sell. OpenAI currently offers self-service sign-up in 52 countries, including the US, and allows a limited set of categories. Eligibility is decided by OpenAI, not by us. We check both against the current rules as the first step, and we don't build campaigns for businesses that can't run them.

What does your service include?

Eligibility and readiness review, campaign strategy, offer and messaging, ad creative, landing-page recommendations, account and launch guidance, measurement planning, and ongoing reporting, testing, and optimization. CRM automation, follow-up sequences, and booking systems are separate Brain Kindle services and are only included if we agree on them.

Who owns the advertiser account?

You do. Under OpenAI's current rules the advertising business creates its own account, completes business verification, and sets up billing. We guide you through it and are then invited into your account as a team member to build and manage campaigns. Agencies can't create the account for you.

Are management fees separate from ad spend?

Yes. Ad spend is paid by you, directly to OpenAI, on a card attached to your own advertiser account. Brain Kindle's management fee is a separate agreement between us. We never hold your ad budget.

Can you guarantee approval or results?

No. OpenAI reviews every advertiser, every ad, and every landing page, and reserves the right to refuse any of them. There is no way to expedite review. Results depend on your offer, your category, your website, and an auction we don't control. What we commit to is a written plan and plain reporting on what the spend produced.

How will performance be measured?

Ads Manager reports impressions, clicks, spend, click-through rate, and conversions. Before launch we set up conversion tracking and UTM conventions so those clicks are visible in your own analytics as inquiries, calls, or bookings. We report on the numbers that matter to you, in plain language, on a schedule we agree on.

What happens after we submit the form?

We reply by email to confirm we received your request and to ask a couple of questions. Then we talk through fit and goals. If it makes sense for both of us, we put a plan in writing for your approval. Submitting the form does not confirm eligibility, open an account, or launch anything.
